in accordance with the Law 131/2002 on Higher Education, the Law 552/2003 on the work in public interest and in accordance with the principles of selection process of university teachers, researchers, and chief officers of TnUAD announces recruitment process for the work position:

Postdoctoral Research Associate Department of Biomaterials, Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass

Qualifications and Experience:

• PhD (doctoral degree) in Biomaterials, Inorganic Chemistry, Material Science,
• Specialization: Biomaterials, Chemistry, Inorganic non-metallic materials.
• Experience in biomaterials, additive manufacturing, glass-ceramic, or polymer science especially in bio glass, development, and characterization of inorganic (glass, bio glass) materials, composites
• Experience with Advanced manufacturing, 3D designs, analysing techniques like XRD, SEM/EDX, FTIR, bioactivity, and in vitro testing of the materials
• Good command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental and applied research in biomaterials, with a focus on bioactive glass and biopolymer processing, characterization, and additive manufacturing
• Contribute to the development of research proposals and actively seek external funding
• Collaborate with international academic and industrial partners
• Work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
• Publish in high-impact journals and present research at international conferences
• Prepare research reports, proposals, and scientific communications

• A list of publications and research projects
• A cover letter describing background specific experience related to the research topic specified above and capabilities pertaining to research activities
