Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Materials - PhD. - full-time

Admission Requirements:

Complete higher education and successful admission process.

Information on the Programme of Study:

Third level of higher education study in the discipline of „Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Materials“ deepens and extends theoretical knowledge of technological fields in the area of metallurgy, progressive technologies, metal cutting and non-cutting, automation of technological processes and possibilities of their application in mechanical engineering companies, while considering qualitative, technological-economic and ecological aspects.

Graduates of Doctoral studies can work at research and development offices and units of production facilities, top managerial positions, management of production units with sophisticated production technology, institutes of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and at technological universities and colleges. They are able to find work in counselling firms and organisations that require advanced education in technological disciplines.  Graduates will be able to manage scientific and technological production centres for defence, manufacturing and automotive technology.
