Menovanie prorektorov na Trenčianskej univerzite Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne

Dňa 11. januára 2017 vymenoval rektor Trenčianskej univerzity doc. Ing. Jozef Habánik, PhD. v súlade s § 10. ods. 10 Zákona č. 131/2002 Z. z. o vysokých školách a po schválení v Akademickom senáte Trenčianskej univerzity Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne do funkcie prorektorov s účinnosťou od 16. 01. 2017. Do funkcie prorektora pre výchovu a vzdelávanie bola vymenovaná doc. Ing. Marta Kianicová, PhD., prorektorom pre stratégiu a rozvoj bude doc. Ing. Peter Lipták, CSc. a  prof. Ing. Dušan Galusek, DrSc. bol vymenovaný do funkcie prorektora pre vedu, výskum a medzinárodné vzťahy.

Prorektorom zaželal rektor našej univerzity Jozef Habánik veľa úspechov pri plnení úloh vyplývajúcich z ich funkcie.

Naša univerzita na výstave PRO EDUCO v Košiciach

V dňoch 29. novembra až 1. decembra 2016 sa konal medzinárodný veľtrh vzdelávania PRO EDUCO v Košiciach. Ten sa primárne zameriava na ponuku vzdelávania a uplatnenia sa absolventov na trhu práce. Návštevníci majú jedinečnú možnosť nájsť pod jednou strechou vyše 80 inštitúcií poskytujúcich služby v oblasti vzdelávania a kariéry a prostredníctvom priamej komunikácie získať potrebné informácie od kompetentných osôb.

Počas troch dní sa na veľtrhu predstavila aj naša Trenčianska univerzita Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne. Reprezentanti z radov študentov našich fakúlt zodpovedali množstvo otázok uchádzačom o štúdium na Trenčianskej univerzite. Zaujímali ich najmä možnosti štúdia, podmienky prijatia, vybavenosť učební a laboratórií, možnosť študovať priamo v praxi, tiež...

Naša univerzita na výstave PRO EDUCO v Košiciach

Na Trenčianskej univerzite sa uskutočnilo menovanie nových prednostov kliník

Rektor Trenčianskej univerzity Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne doc. Ing. Jozef Habánik, PhD. spolu s riaditeľom Fakultnej nemocnice v Trenčíne MUDr. Stanislavom Pastvom vymenoval v piatok 2. decembra do funkcií nových prednostov kliník. Udialo sa tak na základe Zmluvy o praktickej výučbe študentov jednej z fakúlt Trenčianskej univerzity Alexandra Dubčeka a to konkrétne Fakulty zdravotníctva.

Šiestim klinikám boli v súlade so zákonom, štatútom univerzity a zriaďovacou listinou Fakultnej nemocnice taktiež vydané štatúty. Tie vymedzujú základné zameranie, činnosti a úlohy a ustanovujú vzťah k Fakulte zdravotníctva a univerzite.

Novým povereným prednostom Chirurgickej kliniky FN Trenčín a zároveň prednostom Kliniky úrazovej chirurgie bude MUDr. Jaroslav Ridoško, PhD., MBA....

Na Trenčianskej univerzite sa uskutočnilo menovanie nových prednostov kliník

95 rokov od narodenia politika s ľudskou tvárou

Cez víkend sa v Uhrovci konali oslavy 95. výročia narodenia Alexandra Dubčeka, významnej osobnosti moderných dejín Slovenska a európskej politiky. Spomienkové podujatie sa konalo pod záštitou predsedu vlády a slovenského predsedníctva v Rade Európskej únie.

Na organizácii sa podieľali okrem samotnej obce Uhrovec aj Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj, Matica Slovenská a Trenčianske múzeum. Naša univerzita, Ústav politických vied SAV, Nezisková organizácia Ľudovíta Štúra, a Spoločnosť Alexandra Dubčeka, pri tejto príležitosti pripravili dva bloky odborných seminárov. Odznelo množstvo zaujímavých prednášok a prítomní hostia si mali možnosť pozrieť unikátne filmové dokumenty. Rektor Trenčianskej univerzity, ktorá nesie meno Alexandra Dubčeka už od roku 2002, Jozef Habánik...

Na tlačovej konferencii predstavil minister školstva, vedy, výskumu a športu SR Peter Plavčan úspechy slovenských výskumníkov

Minister školstva Peter Plavčan predstavil úspechy slovenských výskumníkov, ktoré dosiahli vo výzve Teaming rámcového programu EÚ pre podporu výskumu a inovácií Horizont 2020. V celkovom hodnotení z približne 150 uchádzačov sa medzi trinásť najlepších dostali projekty Trenčianskej univerzity Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne, Slovenskej akadémie vied a Národného lesníckeho centra vo Zvolene. O ich úspechu rozhodla vysoká úroveň a excelentnosť.

Do prvej desiatky sa dostal vedecký tím z Trenčianskej univerzity Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne s projektom vybudovania Výskumného centra pre funkčné a povrchovo upravované sklá s názvom FunGlass. Vďaka nemu získal zo strany Európskej komisie aj financovanie vo forme grantu vo výške 15 miliónov eur.

1. B.A. Program

Graduate’s profile:

Graduates achieve theoretical knowledge of special disciplines of Political Science. They are acquainted with Comparative Political Science, Political Sociology, History of Political Theories, and current trends in political thinking, community management, functioning of regions towards the country itself and towards other countries. Their language competence is at intermediate level, therefore they can work in various fields as public administration, associations, mass media, and international organizations. Graduates are prepared to work independently, in a creative and effective way and can manage the development of community. They are trained to work out and submit alternations to some situations and to communicate with national and foreign partners. Another career, the graduates can start, is the job of a political adviser in the field of scientific research, politics and journalism. New types of regions that were formed in 2001 needs new graduates in the field of political science, who can develop collaboration of regions and European Union institutions. The graduates from this program are expected to have a good foreign language competence. The graduates can also work in state institutions, public administration (at the state, Slovak, regional and local levels) and in non-governmental institutions.

2. M.A. Program

Graduate’s profile:

The M.A program of the Department of Political Science focuses on the preparation of specialists in public service. The graduates of this M.A program will be able to work in public administration, create conceptions of regional development, to work out decisions of representative bodies and also higher authorities of state administration, to create alternative projects of development and their comparison with similar projects from other regions. The next ability of each graduate of this program is the analyses of social and economic development of region, searching of comparative advantages and to help in the selection of effective method how to govern the region. One of the barriers of progress in Slovakia and in the countries of former communist block is the low professional know-how about the organization of regional development in Western European countries of the European Union and North America. Therefore a part of this program will be the description, analyses and simulation of mechanisms of regional development based on the experience of mentioned countries. At the same time, students will try to find answers to some questions from the area: democracy in the life of citizen. It is about the participation of citizens in local political decision-making processes, public appraisal alternatives and entering the group of specialists to the creation of public policy.

Important part of this program is also questions of social and economic development. It is about the ability to get unbiased and complex statements about the real status of the region, preparedness to analyze these statements and to create final references. It is also connected with the social situation of population, formation of local and regional budgets, financial development and exploitation international experiences. We regard the development of technical infrastructure, health service, social welfare and educational system as key questions.

The graduates of our common M.A program could be also accepted as strategic managers on regional level. It will be a combination of economic, political and social management.
